Bio

Anak Baiharn is a composer with a fascination for a diverse array of artistic disciplines. His creative passions encompass electronic music, jazz, spectralism, rock, post-minimalism, and traditional Thai music. Baiharn has participated and has been selected to work with various ensembles, festivals, and organizations such as OSSIA New Music, Arditti Quartet, Florida State University Symphony Orchestra, TACETi Ensemble, Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra, Thailand Techno Orchestra, Borneo Ensemble, Triphens (---) Ensemble, Gusto Saxophone Quartet, Wind Band Association of Singapore, June in Buffalo, Bang On a Can Summer Music Festival, Florida State University Festival of New Music, Manila Composers Lab, New Opera Singapore, Beijing Central Conservatory of Music, and the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music International Symposium. Anak will pursue a Master of Art in Composition in the fall of 2024 at Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester. He earned a Bachelor of Music in composition from the College of Music, Mahidol University.
